1993-2000   A Bachelor of Science with Honours and a Master of Science in Agriculture, both  from Department of Animal Science and Technology, Northeast Agriculture University, China  

2003-2007  A Doctor of Ecology from the Institute of Grassland Science, Northeast Normal University, China, with a thesis titled Research on roughage utilization for grazing system of sheep in the farming-pastoral zone of the Songnen Plain
