Group Vision

The black soil resource is used in a productive, sustainable and ecologically sound manner.

Group Mission

To promote the wise application of the black soil management practices worldwide that will improve and safeguard the quality of the soil resources to meet the continuing needs for future agricultural, environmental and societal development.

Research Fields

(1)  the degradation process and its driving mechanism of the black soil

(2)   the potential productivity and the protection and incubation of the degraded arable soil

(3)   the mechanism of soil erosion and technologies of ecological control

(4)   the evolvement and evaluation of soil quality

(5)   the export management systems of the black soil ecosystems

Group Members

Three senior research fellows, one associate research fellow, three assistant research fellows, two international guest senior research fellows and Postdoc, Ph.D and Master students.
